THE PROBLEM


Food Revival is a great organisation working to achieve a fair and sustainable food system. Their surplus food collections take what would otherwise be waste food and get it to individuals, families and community groups. They offer catering for events, food boxes and access to their pay-as-you-feel shop, giving surplus food a second chance.

THE SOLUTION

Taking products that businesses consider ‘waste’ and putting it to good use adds some humanity back into what has become a very corporate food system. I wanted the brand to reflect that human touch which, frankly, should be in every aspect of the food we eat.

I took a craft-based approach to reflect that, experimenting with lino prints, chalks and colours to create a strong, punchy and unique brand that stood out and aligned with the company’s mission.
